gunlawscolorado.com exists because Colorado firearms law changed dramatically between 2023 and 2026 — and most of the pages people find when they search are out of date. This site does one thing: state what Colorado law actually says, cited to the statute, quoted verbatim, dated, and re-verified on a visible schedule.
Who runs it
The site is built and maintained in Denver, Colorado by a small independent publisher that runs several verification-first reference sites. We are not a law firm, not an advocacy organization, and not affiliated with any gun-rights or gun-control group — the methodology page explains the verification discipline, and the disclaimer explains what this site is not.
